untitled

I grew up in Colorado. When I was eleven my parents became missionaries and we all moved to Mexico. I often tell people that we lived in the prettiest part of Mexico, and I’ll continue to say that for years to come I’m sure!

Jesus has changed my life. He’s walked beside me throughout the years, both in the good times and the bad. He’s never given up on me and continues to break me down and then build me up again. I often wonder where I would be without Him, and I know the best answer to give is, “terribly lost”.

In the fall of 2011, I went to a ten month Bible school. God changed my life through reading His Word. So this is my blog. This is meant to be a blog about my relationship and walk with God. I wish to wrestle with Him as Jacob did, hold fast to Him till the very end like Paul, be content in Him like Leah, love like John, and ask Him the hard questions like Habakkuk while waiting patiently for the answers.

Jesus was an outcast…
He calls those who love Him to be like Him…
May those who love me, love me for who Christ has created me to be…
May those who hate me, hate me for who He has transformed me into…

There’s no one I would rather live for, no one who’s more worthy of receiving my life and death…

This is my story, these are my conclusions, this is my life. Remember the truth, ignore the whispers. Without Jesus, I have nothing. Without grace I get nowhere. Without mercy I die hopelessly. Without hope I do not wake up in the morning. Without love I am nothing.

“Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
– 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 –
